About Make & Mend

Make & Mend started with a simple idea: the best decorations and gifts are the ones someone made by hand. Not the perfect ones — the ones with a slightly crooked handprint or a bead placed just a little off center.

We keep our catalog small on purpose. Right now that means three kits: a family handprint frame that turns painted hands into wall art, and two Christmas pearl diamond painting kits that build up a raised, shimmering design bead by bead.

The handprint kit comes with six non-toxic, acid-free paints in red, yellow, blue, green, white, and black, plus a frame with a thickened acrylic sheet, an enlarged brush, and a dust sticker for the frame's top groove. The paints wipe and wash off easily, which matters when small hands are involved.

The pearl diamond painting kits are pre-framed and ready to hang once finished. Each one includes the canvas, pearl beads, a wax pen, and a tray, with clear symbols printed on the canvas so you can place beads without any painting skill.

We think crafting should be low-pressure. No complicated tools, no long supply lists, no experience required. Just open the box, follow the steps, and end up with something you want to keep.
